Morgan Freeman May Have Been Outed As Having A Sexual Relationship With His Step Grandaughter
Remember years ago when there was a rumor that Morgan Freeman had a sexual relationship with his step granddaughter? If you don't remember, click here for the old story.
Since that story, there has been A LOT of things that have happened, and I have to say, none of it is good.
Several years ago, actor Morgan Freeman was accused of having a sexual relationship with his step granddaughter, E'dena Hines. She is the granddaughter of his first wife, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw. Although him and Bradshaw divorced, he agreed to help raise Hines with his second wife.
Over the years Freeman never referred to Hines as his step granddaughter but as his granddaughter in spite of the fact that they were not blood related. Occasionally, Freeman would bring along Hines to his red carpet events where they could be seen as a loving grandfather and granddaughter.
Around 2010, the National Inquirer started circulating news that Freeman and his granddaughter had been involved in a sexual affair that had began during Hines' teenage years. Two years later, Freeman and Hines released statements in 2012 that said the rumors weren't true, this is hurting their family, and the normal rhetoric celebrities put out when trying to fight against defamation.
Once Freeman released his statement, it appeared that the rumors died down until a tragic event happened in 2015. E'dena Hines was murdered by her boyfriend Lamar Davenport on August 16th outside of their Washington Heights apartments. Neighbors reportedly could hear Hines screaming as Davenport stabbed her 25 times, while possibly shouting religious phrases. Attorney's for Davenport allege that they were both high on PCP and that the murder wasn't premeditated which is why he is being charged with Second Degree Murder.
This is where it gets even more twisted. The days leading up to the breakup, Davenport claimed that there was an inappropriate relationship between Freeman and Hines which played a role in their attempted breakup. Again, Freeman denied the allegations. That is, until the text messages between Hines and Davenport were brought up during court where Hines made a few references to her relationship with her "grandpa".
So far there has been no public statements from Freeman since the texts were released and it may be hard for him to get around this one. I'm sure she never imagined her messages would get out in this manner and it proves that she at least lied previously, which would also make Freeman a liar.
